Captain Milton Soot (a.k.a. Milton three-toes)

Exalted as one of the Heroes of Tarrinfall, Soot and the rest of his mercenary company, the Shifting Sands enlisted into the Peacekeepers to continue protecting the city. As a skilled investigator, Soot became a detective for the Peacekeepers in their investigations department and was quickly promoted to Chief Investigator. Previously, a shifter holding such a high ranking would have caused controversy. However due to the renown gained by the Shifting Sands during the siege, it promotion was largely accepted by the populous which in turn lessened the prejudice against shifters.
