Elora (a.k.a. The Nightmare)
The worlds deadliest mage hunter. Once a simple hunter with the Mage Venatores she discovered the secret of Anti-magic. Even though she is still relatively young compared to other elves, Elora sacrificed everything to become the ultimate mage killer. Now she is the worst fear for all who practice magic. Even though Elora only targets the most dangerous of Magic wielders, the stories told about her are enough to keep most people in line.

Personal history
Most of Elora's history was her moving from place to place trying to find meaning. She would have moved on to other things after hunting with Mage Venatores, but her last job with them birthed her hatred for magic.
In the year 604 AS, Elora was with a team of hunters tracking down a necromancer aspiring to become a death knight. Even though the plan was just to monitor the necromancer, the magic caster caught wind of the hunters. Elora's team were caught in a trap that killed the team leader immediately. Rasing the team leader from the dead, the Necromancer forced the newly undead leader to attack his former team. However, the Necromancer raised the team leader to maintain his voice and memories while controlling him to attack his former team. The Necromancer left him fully aware of his actions. The team was traumatized by watching their leader begging for someone to kill him as he slaughtered his former team.
The team leader killed four of Elora's five allies before he was put down. The Necromancer sensing how the balance of power shifted against him, attempted to cast a wish spell from the Luck blade he owned. He was unable to finish the wish before Elora struck him down. Elora's final teammate died from their wounds shortly after leaving her alone. Overcome with grief and anger at what happened, Elora used the Luck blade and wished for all magic to be eradicated.
While the Blade did not grant that wish, it did offer something else. Tempting Elora with the secrets of Anti-Magic, it offered to show her the path to become a nightmare for magic users. Elora accepted. Granted with the location of a secret sanctuary, Elora traveled for over a year to reach her destination. It is unknown what happened when Elora reached the sanctuary, but after returning home, Elora was never the same again.
