Half-borne

Developed from the crossing of races, half-borne are a small percentage of offspring that are quite disdained by the general populace; treated by all sides as less than and weak. Though most are born with adverse health effects there are some whom grow bigger and stronger than their other counterparts.

History

Back in the early dynasties of the empire as well as the Northern Realms, there have been reports of half-borne's being killed by the medical practitioners and off lookers of the birth. Death; if not, prison are usually what is in store for the acts of the parents.

Cultural Reception

Racial tension between species has bred to further hate of half-borne as being a creation of monstrosity. Those who keep it a secret are often found throughout the aging of their afflicted child. Most of both sides of spectrum are found to look down in disgust of these children.
