The Traveler’s Nook Tavern
This tavern, located on the northwest side of town, is the closest tavern to Odin’s Well. The tavern is run by Perrywinkle Glasgow Thurmund Lightshaper III, thought he isn’t the official proprietor. That honor belongs to his grandfather, an aging gnome with a hearing problem and chronic sleep issues.
Perry, as he prefers to be called, is trying to design a ship capable of flight. His experiments often result in explosions, though he is always making progress. The tavern was started by his father after
The inside of the tavern is equally unique as series of copper pipes and iron gears run through the open ceiling and connect to special mechanized contraptions at the bar counter. These contraptions are mechanical devices designed to automate the work of the tavern. These devices have a 15% chance of failure. There are two types of devices available, one for acquiring a room and one for acquiring a drink. Use the following table for failures on either role.

Architecture
The Traveler’s Nook has a unique architectural design to it. The exterior of the tavern is thick stonewalls with brass trimmed glass windows revealing a well lit interior. The roof, however, is anything but natural as it has a flat keeled sailing ship resting on two arches on top of it. In addition to the arch that the ship is settled in, there are two metal braces holding the ship upright with metal reinforced plates at their point of contact.
History
Before the Traveler’s Nook was a tavern, it was a family home. The home as time went on slowly became a tinker’s workshop. When Perrywinkle the Eldest became well know for making small mechanical contraptions, he started opening his door to business and through renovation turned the house into a shop with personal sleeping areas in back.
Perrywinkle II went off with a group of adventurers after learning of these strange caverns that each housed a secret compartment with crystals in them. The crystals, an area of study and of high interest on certain market, brought in a lot of money. He retired not long after one of his group was forced to make her own hasty retirement. He kept a half-dozen crystals for study and used his funding to convert the workshop into a tavern that he could use to fund his further studies.
Perrywinkle II was killed and robbed of his crystals in the tavern, leaving behind all his works including the compass the adventuring group had used to find new crystals. Perrywinkle I continued to run the tavern for a while and Perry III has since inherited the responsibility of it and his father’s notes.
