Session 8

General Summary

Miz'ri's Company was awakened in the night by the sounds of explosions and screaming. After witnessing a humanoid creature tear the throat out of Nora, Cheshire mercy killed her. The group then ran to the temples.
After witnessing the destruction of the temples of Ioun and the Raven Queen, the party was asked by Zaknafain to flee to Firion and bring help. Acquiring horses from the Kordic Monastery, the group did just that. They found Thia and her girlfriend Alesha who took them to the Raven's Sanctuary to speak with Lady Amartheleth, the Raven Queen's high priestess. She mustered paladins of Bahamut and clerics of Ioun and the Raven Queen to Kalis's aid.
Thia asked the party to escort Lady Amartheleth to Kalis, which they agreed to do. After fighting off a zombie ogre the group returned to the ruins and helped find people lost in the devastation. While acquiring names of people wanting to request resurrection, Mariah set up an interview for the party. Lady Amartheleth agreed to allow them to undergo the Raven Queen's Trial.
