Gnome
When I discovered that gnomes live as long as elves do I was surprised. Gnomes, at least the ones that I've met, spend most of their time inside tinkering with various thing. It was one such gnome that made me the quill with a built in ink well.
Despite insistence that there are gnome subspecies, I am not certain that there are enough differences to discuss. If I find I am wrong, I will amend the Codex.
