Spellcasters often look to the shadows for enemies, but what do they do when the shadows are the enemies? Using necrotic magic to bind shadows a spellcaster can attempt to disrupt the magic of other spellcasters.

Casting Time: 1 reaction: When an enemy spellcaster begins casting a spell.
Range/Area: Sight
Components: Verbal somatic
Duration: Instantaneous
When you see an enemy spellcaster casting a spell you can summon their shadow to attempt to foil the spell. If it has a verbal component then it strangles the spellcaster, somatic it attempts to disrupt their handwork. Any material components are stolen by the shadows. They must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failure, they take 4d6 necrotic damage and If the creature is casting a spell of 3th level or lower, its spell fails and has no effect. If it is casting a spell of 4th level or higher, make an ability check using your spellcasting ability. The DC equals 10 + the spell's level. On a success, the creature's spell fails and has no effect.
At higher levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 6th level or higher, the interrupted spell has no effect if its level is less than or equal to the 2 levels down of the spell slot you used. The damage increases by 2d6 for every level spell slot
