Goliath
Basic Information
Anatomy
Goliath stand between seven and eight feet tall, and have notable ridges above their eyes. Their skin comes in pigments from grey to brown and is often likened to stone in toughness, though their eyes stand out more being green or blue, sometimes with a slight glow. Their most prominent physically distinctive feature is the series of darker patches of skin (often vertical) that cover their entire bodies, which the Goliath believe determine their destiny or fate. While many claim that the male Goliaths are all born bald and females can grow hair, this is actually false, as many of their cultures shave the heads of their males as a part of their Rite of Passage.
Genetics and Reproduction
Like most other human-esque races of Erensi the Goliath reproduce in the same manner as humans, though their gestation period tends to be slightly longer at around twelve to thirteen months.
Ecology and Habitats
Goliaths are always found in the desolate mountain ranges of Erensi, from the Northern Balian Range to the Crater's Edge Mountains. They are naturally resistant to the cold temperatures of these high altitudes, and are often found living in small villages in sheltered highland valleys or in the ruins of Syck outposts.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Goliath tribes live in a harsh environment and, as such, they have had to maintain a varied diet of almost any edible thing they can get their hands on, from meats to fruits, vegetables, legumes etc. Due to this they tend to not be terribly picky eaters, though they all have their favourite foods.

Geographic Origin and Distribution
The most dense populations of Goliath are found along the Balian Range, with some even being found on the 'Balian Lowlands' between the Wes Basin and Southern Balian range (aka Dunlyft). These lowland tribes seem to be slightly more aggressive than others though most are vassals to the Duke of Oxreach, much to the chagrin of their 'highland' kinsmen.
Average Intelligence
Goliaths are generally considered to be smarter than the average human, and are a pragmatic people. They are capable of creating and using complex tools, as far as old Scykian war forges, though they are mostly found with 'primitive' weapons, due to the lack of accessible materials.
