The Illarin-Azarinian War
The Conflict
Prelude
The illarin, that had just reached the Violet Bay, coming from The Anvestors' Island, met the azarin, who had settled down in that place some months before. There was a kind of negotiation for the Illarin to receive part of the land, but it was not well-succeeded and a fight began.
Battlefield
The Violet Bay coastline.
Conditions
The Azarin were well-rested, although not prepared for the battle. The majority of the people were of composed of woman and children, since the men were sailing through the Western Sea.
The Illarin were not in their best condition, but had many more capable men than the Azarin.
The Engagement
The battle began in the morning and lasted until the middle of the afternoon.
The Illarin shot arrows from their boats before approaching the land, and then fought against an army not bigger than theirs.
Both sides resisted well, but the Azarin where slightly better in friend territory. In that pace the battle would end badly for the Illarin, but the Azarin retreated to the woods for no apparent reason.
Assuming the enemy had retreated because they were losing, the Illarin took the Violet Bay.
Aftermath
The Illarin got control of the Violet Bay, and started a new life in the continent.
It also helped to spread the idea that the Illarin were "watched" by Erkhyn and protected by him.
For the Azarin, the Violet Bay was lost. However, the reason they retreated was that a better place was found by the sailing men, and thus protecting the Bay wouldn't be of great advantage.
