Orcs
- Orcs are similar to Klingons in Star Trek the Next Generation in relationship with Humans . Some are friendly, some neutral, some hostile. They don't like salt water much (or any large bodies of water), so there is no conflict with Humans for coastal land.
- They are natural fighters, some shaman, wizards are VERY rare.
- Strength rules. If you can't defeat it, it deserves to rule you. One of the reasons wizards are so rare is that all orcs at a young age are brought up as fighters or some variation. Those born with magical ability generally learn to ignore or suppress it. Strength is respected, magic is seen as a shortcut to be avoided. Why would you need a shortcut? Are you weak?!
- Women are protected as life can be brutal, violent, and short which requires procreation.
- Same general lifespan as Humans .
- The tribes are generally separate from each other - like city states.
