Zultin

In the South-Western hemisphere of Eraterna there is rumored to be an undocumented island shrouded in a heavy fog. Some wayward travelers have claimed to have found themselves lost upon the mystical shores over the years. The flora of the land seems to match the various continents around where the island is reported to be. Large, leafy ferns, towering trees, and many beautifully gargantuan flowers cover the island past the shores. Reports of strange creatures, long lost to history, litter the island, with tales of lizards the size of houses, turtle-like creatures with maces for tails, and a variety of large feathery creatures that could swallow a grown human whole all come from the recollections of those that come back. Survivors even claim that some of the plants in the jungle eat living creatures that wander by! There are even stories of sapient beings living on the island. An albino race of what appear to be dwarves live in small villages towards the mountainous center. it is even said that strange, humanoid creatures that resemble some of the fauna of the lost land rule the land and skies of the continent. It is nearly impossible to confirm these findings, though. Whatever the case, no physical evidence of any of the creatures or plants described by surviving castaways have been found by any of the continents that surround the mythical island. This has not stopped eager adventurers from searching for this magnificent place. All those that have gone in search of the island find themselves sailing around in the heavy fog for weeks until their searches are eventually abandoned. A myth surrounds the island, stating that the only people that can find the island are those truly lost. Others believe that the island's inhabitants, years ago, created the unnatural fog to keep their island safe from invaders but none on the island remember how it was done or how to undo it. For many in the world, the island seems too crazy to exist and the entire story sounds like an old tale made up by dehydrated sailors. This magical island may be found one day and its people brought back to the modern world, but until then, it lays in mystery and myth.
