Tabaxi

Whether prowling the savannahs of the Qadoric lowlands spear in hand, blending into the haunting snows of Kar Vreld or leaping through the jungles of Ezzuth in pursuit of prey, the Tabaxi embody a feline lust for life and curiosity that goes far beyond their appearance. Tabaxi are common in Ezzuth, but may be found wherever there is adventure to be had; they are wanderers by nature and, whilst caring little for material goods, treasure knowledge and experience above all things. No stone remains unturned for a Tabaxi on a mission. Their own communities embody a hunter-gatherer lifestyle, but Tabaxi blend in just as easily in cities, recognising the urban landscape as another kind of jungle with its own paths, perils, and rewards to pursue. For their boundless curiosity Tabaxi are somewhat mistrusted in some lands; they are certainly a rare enough sight that many smaller communities don't quite know what to make of them, and they have a reputation for prodigious skill at burglary and other such unsavory deeds that is somewhat unfair for all it is technically true. Tabaxi rarely travel in groups of other Tabaxi and tend to mix in with other cultures wherever they are able, learning as they go. There is a risk, however, for the abundance of pleasures and distractions in such exotic civilizations can prove too tempting for a Tabaxi to resist, and they can perilously lose focus on whatever quest it is they are pursuing if too many distractions are available...
