Kasper Rank/Title in Equilibrium | World Anvil

Kasper

Only a handfull of pilots though the ages have earned this title. its a name assigned to someone who popped up and scared the shit out of someone. (mostly the one flying in front of the combat pilot.) giving callsigns is something that has been done for as long as pilots remember and the names are usually assigned on some event that happened to you or that you made happen. Callsigns are only given when it is an obvious thing. The titles acan be humiliating or offensive.   about calllsigns
1. If you don't already have one, you will be assigned one by your "buddies".
2. You probably won't like it.
3. If you complain and moan too much about 1. and 2., you'll get a new nickname you'll like even less!
Due to the official nature of uniforms people do not use wordst that are inappropriate. (like fuck, cunt or shithead etc.)

History

the callsigns are short names for pilots, making communications more efficient. There are no written rules, as the titles are not official. They are as part of tradition allowed under the normal name tag or as part of a name Jim 'Captain' Kirk as example or Bob 'wiki' Maybaum (fictional names) the tradition is also allowing people to attach themselves as part of a team. Its about fun, comreadery and fitting together. The names are sometims reffering to embarrassing moments. Like passing out or making a mistake.
There are a lot of ways to get a callsign. its just what people come up with depending on situation and activity ... ingame a callsign will be given by the DM.
