Magic System

The magic system in this universe is granted to people who are born "worthy", so there is a population of magic users roughly the same size as the non-magic users. All descendants of magic users are also magic users, additionally, there is a small chance that at birth a non-magic user is given access to magic and becomes a magic user. Magic is gifted by various gods of the world that grants magic users the ability to draw magic from the planes that the gods inhabit. Additionally, if a person gains enough favor with their god, they can create items with immense power that have limited uses. One of these is the amulet that Protagonist uses to defeat Big Bad Guy.
