Housetree
Known as varimelak in Ephemeral, housetrees provide housing for those who live near them by growing with hollow trunks that have windows and stairs. However, the disadvantage of a housetree is that it cannot sustain outlets. They grow round, yellow, citrus-like fruit with sweet taste.
Basic Information
Genetics and Reproduction
They reproduce by the seeds of their fruit.
Growth Rate & Stages
The sapling stage is when a housetree begins forming its insides. The door forms within ten years of growth. They take as long to fully develop as the average normal tree.
Ecology and Habitats
They grow best in flat places, and can be coastal or inland.
Biological Cycle
Housetrees shed their leaves during the cold season, but those in inner Rota keep their leaves all year. They bear yellow flowers during the middle of the warm season and fruit near the end, but are known to have both year-round in inner Rota.
