The individuals who held us up on the road back to Catun weren't warriors; we could tell that, they could tell that, and thankfully they saw reason. It turned out this unmerry band of outlaws were simply living outside of the law due to their Lord's irresponsible misuse of keyna. We brokered a deal with them; we would get them supplies from the town they no longer had access too, and they would help us attack the beast who we fought on the road.
We stopped for a time in a local town, then set out to fight the beast with our newfound hunting compatriots after convincing Bahamut that one or two more day's rest would not spoil his mission. Our new compatriots proved good at their task, and after a fierce battle - and one unfortunate, sorry loss - we put down the frost wyrm. Severing its head from its body, we now return to the town to see whether or not this felling will allow us to buy our friends' peace from the local lord. Then, we continue on to Catun.
