Cognitiones Pigmentosa

Rodrik had been fine before the accident. His research was meant to revolutionize the Enchantment Guild and win him a seat on the Guild's council. It's not that his condition precludes him from taking an office, but it might be a bit more difficult now.   "Good afternoon, Algernon." Rodrik walked past the older wizard, trying to mask any skin showing as he felt the burn in his flesh, he wanted to get back to his study and quickly without delay, or conversation. "Ah, Rodrik, I meant to find you, about, uh... what was it again." "I apologize, but I really cannot stick arou-" his eyes darted to the side, desperate for an escape, or at the very least a shadowy alcove to hide his skin." "Nonsense, this is about your research, that's what it was. You know that the others are wanting to put your name down for a seat, so I hope your new spell is coming along." his laughing sounded like a war hippo. "Yes, well that is what I need to get to now, so farewell." Algernon grabbed his wrist, "Hold on now, what is that on your wrist?" Algernon pulled back Robdrik's sleeve, revealing a delicate scrawling tattoo reading "Won't Algernon just shut up and leave me alone? I'm surprised the other councilors don't toss the git from the tower." "Rodrik... why does your arm say thi-" Rodrik ran back to his study, locking his door.   He flung off his over coat, revealing the thousands of lines of script etched into his skin, each one a representation of what he was thinking at that time. He needed to find a way to reverse the spell or disease, not only was it excruciatingly painful, it also hurt his job prospects.
