The Warbling Forest

There is rumored to be an island off of the North-west shore of Cruyan. The island is home to a forest full of trees, said to sing otherworldy songs of grace and peace that reach into the soul of those who traverses the land. Many sailors tell tales of their time on the island and the significant effect on their mental and physical health. They all seemly can't remember the pattern in which the trees sang with impossibly complex arrangements of sounds and unexplainable emotions that result thereof. At the center of this forest is a graveyard. This graveyard holds no bodies, only nameless tombstones. Those who seek out the island believe that if they are to bury their loved one in the island's ground, their life would be spared, and their sicknesses destroyed and wake up healthy and new. Many believe this to be a fable of those who live in disbelief of losing their loved ones. Stories told by sailors and lost travelers are often disregarded as tall tales. But to those who believe, this legend gives hope to mothers who lost a child, those who have lost a friend, or optimism to someone fallen deathly ill. There is no reassurance to those with nothing left who decided to make this difficult journey, but there are travelers along the way to point you in the right direction if they are to be trusted. Many who make this travel never return, and preserving a lost loved one or a dying man, woman, or child is challenging to upkeep during this timely travel across the seas of Cruyan. Though some live in disbelief, those beyond the grave have been said to walk again, returning healthier than ever, with little recollection of what happened. It seems anyone who finds themselves on the island return with no desire to have questions answered or memories fulfilled.
