Enmilon

In Emnilon, the planar cosmology is very close together due to a cosmic collapse that occurred while the gods were creating the planes. This leads to various planes overlapping each other at more points than in other planar cosmologies. The planes spend much time in contact with one another and regularly leak small amounts of planar energies into each other; rarely enough to cause any major problems, but enough that they have a small amount of influence on the surrounding area.   The Material, Shadow, Ethereal, Feywilds, and Spirit Planes overlap normally, but more strongly influence each other, sometimes in unusual ways. The elemental, positive, and negative planes all slightly overlap the prior four in specific locations, and constantly influence them. In such locations, these planes are often responsible for, or at least strongly affect, the seasons. In a few places, the influencing planes even cycle regularly and directly cause seasonal changes that would not be expected for a given region. For example, a site near the equator could be cool in what should be Summer, but slightly warm in what should be Winter. Or moisture leaking in from the Plane of Water could allow for lush vegetation to grow just East of a mountain range which blocks all of the moist wind.   Many of the creatures and people are affected by these planar energies leaking into their world. Elemental and planar templates are common on everything from dragons, to humans, to livestock, to insects. Just as common, are religious sects devoted to planes. As well as planar classes and prestige classes such as sorcerers with elemental, celestial, or fiendish bloodlines, warlocks with elemental or fey patrons, clerics with planar domains, druids who draw their power from the elemental, shadow, or feywild planes, and planar warriors and shepherds of all varieties.
