Personal history

Ayara Kaiska's story is one soaked in blood and marred by death. At 12 her father, a then prominent member of the Last Chance Lancers, was killed in the incident known as The Festival Feast, murdered by Ser Veren.
The two had trained together for many years up to that point, but afterward, she dedicated her every waking moment to perfecting her combat skills with the sole intent of bringing Veren to justice. Naturally adept and supernaturally dedicated to battle, Kaiska quickly climbed the ranks of the Lancers until she attained that of her father: First Forward, the vanguard leader for the main engagement battalion.
Though she was as well respected as her father before her, Kaiska maintained a low and sullen exterior, refusing group assignments whenever possible despite her position. When given no other option, she would simply pay the fee for her allies' support and have them stay behind.
With a flawless record for mission success and an unparalleled work ethic, Ayara Kaiska was a natural fit to succeed Captain Commander the 6th Surin Nakan after his sudden death in the winter of Y.E. 1087.

Education

Completed her basic education at the Varkart Academy, studied topics of espionage and political science as a guest student abroad in Aldrané's Prima Formus

Employment

Ayara Kaiska has worked with the Last Chance Lancers virtually her entire life, joining years ahead of their minimum signing age of 16.

Accomplishments & Achievements

By 19, Kaiska had gained the title of paramount battle leader, First Forward.
Later, at 25, she secured her position as 7th Captain Commander after her predecessor died suddenly and unexpectedly on an assignment.
Though technically disqualified from attaining the title Ser and becoming an official knight recognized by Colum due to her sex, it is a tradition for the Captain Commander to be granted such a title upon their induction.
