This valley is the center of the Ralden Clan Community. "The Homestead" is here, and is where the Raldens first settled in the region some 350 years ago. The oldest branches of the family have homes here as well. Stretches near the river grow high value, water and nutrient hungry crops, with larger cash crops growing further out. The NE hilltop has a modest 2-story church. The western side of the valley has 3 more estates. The southern two grow fruits (apples and pears in the center, grapes and berries on the south side), and one turns much of the wool and hides of the families' large herds into clothing and equipment (mostly through the use of indentured labor). Scattered lower in the valley are the lighter houses for the many servants, farm hands, and guards the family employs.
