Inktober XIV: Overgrown
South of Pekeparu's lush jungle greenery
And far west of the bustle of New Aquaine
Lies an acidic wasteland without any scenery
And under it, a life which will live once again. Ensnared in chains of white snaking vines
And mushrooms that glow a soft alabaster,
A residual energy lurks in their confines
That, upon approach, grows ever faster. The catalyst of fate stirs up above
As it sends waves crashing upon the dead shore.
Through the motives of loyalty, desperation, and love
They will find their objective and so much more. A heart beating,
A soul retreating.
