Devil's Head

Devil's Head is a band of highwaymen and bandits concentrated on several routes in Kelmore. Their methods of operation include fake toll posts or Reismed healers, ambushes via an injured traveler (planted or a previous victim), and direct robbery and assault. Their leader, the devilspawn going by Hellsfire, claims to be worthy of leading this band and its heinous actions by claiming he clawed his way out of the underworld to raze the world and take its treasures for himself and his posse.

In reality, this Asmodeus Carrion was a tiefling banished from Sanctuary for several counts of nonlethal arson. Cyrus Titanus has a blood penchant against him after unknowingly burning down one of his fronts, though his desire to wipe out this band of bandits could be with good intentions.

Public Agenda

Hellsfire's main goals are to secure enough coin to be able to build a mountain that his brothers and sisters from the underworld can scale to reach the overworld and wreak havoc upon it. While this is likely metaphorical (or at least his men tell that to themselves), he is trying to rapidly acquire as much money as he can.

History

On the 4th of Clearwind, 1487, Hellsfire leapt out of a bonfire established by some traveling merchants and slaughtered them all, sparing one to tell him of the world and allow him to join him in claiming the world for demons and devils. The founding members of Demon's Head continued in this fashion, robbing or killing nearly all they came across and recruiting other savages along the way.
