Draciel (Dra-seal)

Draciel is the capital and largest city of Gallowgale and the Gallian Kingdom. It stands on the Ainwick River in north-east Gallowgale. It has been the financial and cultural epicenter of the Gallian Coast for millennia. Since Gallowgale gained independence from Imperial Theron in 140 AR, Draciel's inner city of Ravenscrown has housed the national government.

Demographics

As Draciel is a major global city, it's home to a mass of different languages, cultures, races, and ethnicities. Most of its inhabitants are fluent in Gallowgale's national language of Gallian. In a census collected by the Gallowgale Census Bureau in 738 — collected just a year after the Lower District Fires shook the city's population — 72.4% of Draciel's population was determined to be human or of a hybrid human species. Among the humans in Draciel, 82.2% were determined to primarily be of Gallian Coast descent, giving them a lighter, porcelain skin tone. Industry & Trade

As the crown jewel of the Gallian Kingdom, Draciel is one of Endeah's major global cities. It has long exerted influence over the arts, commerce, education, entertainment, fashion, finance, health care, professional services, research and development, tourism, and transportation. It is the biggest urban economy in all of the Gallian Coast, despite its significant wealth gap. Its universities have long produced some of the finest scholars in Western Aeris, including those specializing in the fields of astrology and supernatural or experimental research. As the industrial revolution marches on, Draciel has become a leading city in the production of new technology.
