History
Founded in 2027 as the Opérateurs Alliés des Systèmes Intégrés de Sécurité ("allied operators of integrated systems in security") or Opal (Opérateurs Alliés), the company revolutionised the security and intelligence industry by working together with local and national law enforcement agencies as part of their premium 'Noir' service, resulting in the so-called Noir Ops. This allowed customers to be sure of high-quality investigations and rapid emergency response times within the confines of the law while benefiting public law enforcement indirectly.
This business model was so successful that the company was soon among the largest security firms in existence, dominating the Eurasian market by 2041 after having expanded to offer products in private insurance, surveillance, security technology and emergency service enhancement.
In 2043 Opal Security merged with Synergy Industries, the largest arms and surveillance manufacturer in the Afro-American market in an attempt to expand their customer base. The merger resulted in the rebranding to Syn-Opsis but disagreements in management resulted in the cooperation's disbandment in 2045. Opal Security was then once again rebranded to OASIS Security and has remained the market leader in private emergency service enhancement.
