New Haven
The coastal cities of New Haven are 2 fairly large cities off the Jungle of Grymkash.
Structure
Being small there is not a lot of structure to report. Each of the Cities have a mayor, and the Master is nominated by them and elected by the town councils. Each Mayor is responsible for and to their city and must deal with their city council, the Master on the other hand is responsible for foreign relations.
Culture
Capitalist excellence. Everything has a price, but try to ensure repeat customers.
Public Agenda
The peace and prosperity of the Cities. Just enough to live comfortably.
Assets
Resorts and spas, guided tours, pleasure cruises.
History
Idyllic and peaceful it is said that they were the results of Shipwrecks, where people fleeing persecution prayed to Melora during a great storm and washed up on the beach safe and unharmed. Since then they have built up into Cities that while sizable are not densely populated.
Demography and Population
The population demographics are hard to pinpoint as 60% are not permanent residents. Almost no one lives below the poverty line and comparing to the continetn as a whole most would be mildly wealthy
Territories
The Cities themselves and the stretch of Beach between is all that they claim.
Military
No standing Military but every Mercenary company knows they have a reputation for rewarding those who help them in need.
Foreign Relations
All nations have had good standing with New Haven.
Agriculture & Industry
The chief industry is Hospitality. All things hospitality, at all times.
Trade & Transport
Trade is predominantly done by ship, though theoretically it could be done by land it would be a treacherous journey.
Education
Most of the clientele are educated and the citizenry are expected to be as well, after all its good business. That said most of the educations is practical to the needs and interactions as opposed to knowledge for the sake of knowledge.
Infrastructure
The cities were designed with forward progress in mind and as such new infrastructure has not been slowed by old buildings. A clever design consisting of ecology and magic allows fresh water to be collected from the ocean and waste to be safely disposed of. The cities lack permanent walls but if they come under attack they can at least for a time defend with magical walls, hopefully long enough that a mercenary group will be ready to assist.
We Sink, We Rise, Always a surprise.
