Fresh Company

So named for the raw recruits it employs, the Fresh Company of Princess Mhigo Ala's Retinue rarely numbers more than a few dozen adventurers along with the staff to support them.
Every sword fighter, cut purse, and spell slinger to ever serve the Retinue has done their time under the watchful eye and keen evaluation of Roatan Hassan who alone decides when an adventurer has proven her mettle well enough to stand among the Retinue proper.
Under Roatan's hand, everything is training. Every potato peeled is a lesson in dexterity, every blade sharpened, an exercise in discipline, and every goblin dispatched, an examination of tactical aptitude. It can be too much for some recruits, having their every action silently graded and coldly critiqued, but the adventurers that graduate from Mhigo's Fresh Company are among the best in the world, rivaling even the students of Ruelle's Fairchild University.
