Antillia Geography Basics

Antillia is composed of three main Shards.   Lower Antillia usually sits about 3000-4000 ft above the The Evermyst. This means that it is low enough for the rain clouds that form above the The Evermyst to easily reach Lower Antillia and it receives plenty of rain.   Shattered Antillia is rumored to have broken off from Lower Antillia about 1000 years ago. It sits about 7000-8000 ft above the The Evermyst. This means that many of the rain storms pass underneath it and thus is receives little rain and is a desert. Yet it is not high enough to float past Lower Antillia and thus is remains trapped in the center of Lower Antillia     High Antillia is actually a tilted shard. The lowest tip of High Antillia will occasionally dip into the The Evermyst. However the shard is tilted and at the other side of the shard the The Evermyst can be almost 30,000 ft below it. This means that the upper area is a vast desert barley getting any rain. while the lower parts receive plenty of rain fall. No one is sure why the shard is tilted.   The map of Antillia has some more detailed information about it's specific geography.
