Coriander Allwing

Owner of Allwing's Apothicary . He is and Elf, in his middle years, and like the Weaver's he has extensive knowledge of the Islands. He often commissions Merino Weaver to bring back any new or interesting plants or folk remedies from his journies. Unlike Merino, he is not interested in magic, but is a man of science. He is deeply suspicious of things he cannot test or try. The back room of his shop is filled with a full lab set up, beakers, tubest, a distillation aparatus for extracting oils. He isn't scared of magic, but feels that most things people attribute to magic can be understood in scientific terms if you look hard enough. He has heard the stories of great magic being done, but is pretty sure there is a rational explanation.
Corriander is very concerned about the reports of the prisoners dying on the King's Island. He would like to find someone to go there and collect any sort of samples the could of foliage from around the camps. He has heard rumours about the bodies, that they had no decayed at all but were perfectly preserved when they were found by the sailors. They were burned on the spot, so he hasn't had a chance to examine them, and it's possible they had only just died, but the reports that came back suggested that the bodies had almost dehydrated, and were more like mummies than rotting corpses. Corriander is very concerned about this, that some fast spreading disease might be coming their way.
