Personal history

Jax grew up in a poor family. His father was a fisherman with an alcohol addiction and things did not go well for the young family. Often, when the fishing season was poor, Jax and his six siblings were forced to salvage whatever they could from the junk heap or beg along the streets because their father had no bread to give them.
When Jax was twelve years old, his mother died. Grieved, his father left Wensley, abandoning his children, the youngest only two years old.
Needing some way to provide for his starving brothers and sisters, Jax hired himself out to the village smithy, who took pity on the motheless children and agreed to train him and supply him with a small income.
For seven years, Jax worked and toiled to learn the blacksmiths trade and supply his siblings with food.
In his twentieth year, Jax was released from his apprenticeship and was given employement like any other adult. It was also around this time, that rumors of a mysterious figure all in black, began circulating through the town.
