Bayona Cherished Forest

Unspoiled by Progress

From the Intertrust Central Station

To: Eton Veil, Hadish of Korvilene

It has come to our attention that recent developments by the Asmerinth Foundation has disrupted the natural balance of Bayona. For this, we must rescind its title of a Cherished Forest.   We understand that this news arrives at a time when the Hadish of Korvilene faces scrutiny. This decision is apolitical. Intertrust does not and will not participate in regional or civic squabbles.   In case of disputes, we have provided Star Eye proof of this indiscretion. We will consider reintegration into the Cherished Forest program in fifty years if necessary measures are met as listed below.
  • Remove all artificial structures
  • Replace vegetation with comparative seeds
  • Allow for unfettered germination
  • Apply for revision
  • Await the arrival of an Intertrust sanctioned abettor
  • Regards,

The most prestigious title a forest can attain, a Cherished Forest is the perfect harmony of fauna, flora, and tranquility. Only eight forests across the globe have been designated as such by an international hive mind known as Intertrust. The Bayona Cherished Forest once stretched from the western coastal city of Juptos to beyond Sudbina with only trails interrupting its majesty. However, forcible land development led to the creation of the town also known as Bayona, along its southern perimeter.   To some, access to a pedestrian mall is more important than the unfettered call of the wild world. Not rescinded until after the civil war, Bayona still keeps the signage and title among locals.
