Reformed (Re-formed)
Reformed was intended to be the title given to the military leader of the Bandit Lands, as confered by the Repentant (another intended term). These terms were created by the Kentasorte in the early days of the Bandit Lands, in an attempt to exert influence and control over those being sent beyond the Gnarled Wall.
In practice, the title intended to be Reformed has largely been purposed into Polearm (or some actual named polearm type). This title is confered by the Bandit King (or other current ruler of the primary camps). The Polearm title denotes that the person who acts in this role has gone so far beyond the crime for which they were thrown into the Bandit Lands that they deserve a name wholly within the lands themselves.
Qualifications
There are no qualifications required to be named Polearm, though the Kentasorte initially tried to impose that all Reformed needed to be at least forty eochs in age, with a solid education, and demonstrated some remorse for their actions before being condemned. However, there is no evidence that any Reformed actually served in the role as outlined.
Appointment
The Polearm is appointed by the Bandit Ruler, however and whenever they see fit. The only functional requirement that denotes the Polearm is that their initial name and crime are struck from the Runa records (through the Polearm themselves burning the page that contained their records) and all residents of the primary camps are told to defer to this person and refer to them by their new name.
Duties
The Polearm is responsible for the general law and order of the primary camps of the Bandit Lands (such as law and order might be in a place full of criminals cut off from the rest of the world). The Polearm is also responsible for maintaining some kind of raised force which can be used to address any uprising or major creature threat, and they are often responsible for also keeping an eye on the non-major, or purposely segregated, camps.
The Polearm is also one of the major record keepers of the Bandit Lands, with reports written and logged regularly (tied into the overall ethos of many who live in the Bandit Lands).
Benefits
The Polearm is afforded respect by those of the primary camps, they are able to offer guidance to the Bandit Ruler, and they often get first choice for any new equipment created by the arcane and mundance smiths within the Bandit Lands.

Equates to
The Polearm is hard to equate out side of the Bandit Lands, given that the role holds multiple primary tasks. Generally, the Polearm could be thought of as the General, Spymaster, and Chief Justice if they existed in one person who was able to divest any of those roles and titles to others at any given moment (temporarily).
