Ortilus Island is a medium sized island located a few dozen kilometres from mainland Laeria. Whilst it may look like any other island in the Taurian Isles, one must not be fooled by its appearance. For underneath it lies a much more sinister secret.
The Island has been closed off to civilians for a few years now since a number of alarming incidents took place on the island, including the murder and mutilation of many of its inhabitants by a sadistic demonic cult. The soldiers stationed on the island are specially trained, for the psychological dangers brought down by the magic of the cultists as well as the presence of a mysterious artifact in a gigantic abandoned manor on the island takes its toll on even the bravest of soldiers.
As of recent, with the rest of Elladia, the island has been witnessing even more sinister events. The cultists have been increasing their activity and rumours abound that they are partaking in a ritual that they have waited for years. One that will summon back an evil that has wanted to enslave elladia for centuries.
The Imperium must take action soon, no matter the cost suffered in human and material damage. The cultists will fight on ever more savagely and fiercely but they must stop the ritual at all costs.
For the beast it will summon, will be something that even the gods could not comprehend.
