Athoka

Athoka is a large port city at the south end of Borimon Lake. Athoka is surrounded by hills and mountains that are covered in all species of trees and flora.

Demographics

Athoka is home to a very large variety of races and ethnicities. Most common are humans that come from every land of Elios. However, Cromwell University brings most of the populace to the area for higher learning. Many of the Dwarf come for the classes in warrior training, military history and leadership. Most of these classes were originated by Prince Omar Shatterbeard and the Order of the Anvil.

Government

Although Athoka is more of the free loving type of society, the city is governed by a much more militaristic rule. A duo of guards can be seen roaming the city at any time. Also, the city is run my a five person council that oversees various aspects of operations within city limits.

Defences

Although the city has a guard posted near every road entrance to the city, there is also a small contingent of warriors from the Order of the Anvil.

Infrastructure

Athoka is home to Cromwell University. There is also a large hub of the Adventurers Guild located near the port of Chyan.

Districts

The has many different districts that fairly coincide with the various areas taught at the University. Naturally, there is the Port at the south of the lake. This area if full of warehouses, taverns, inns merchants and the occasional brothel.

The population changes with the seasons, but there are on average 400,000 inhabitants. Athoka is home to all races.
