Eleste

Welcome to the world! This campaign focuses on the material plane of Eleste, as well as the related planes surrounding Eleste. Eleste is an archipelago with diverse inhabitants and cultures. Large nations occupy island chains, as well as the large island clusters scattered around the plane.   The land known as Eleste was shaped a few hundred years ago during the period known as the Calamity: when gods and men fought each other on the material plane. Today, gods roam the land no more and left behind are all manner of races. Since the Calamity was so recent, many inhabitants are able to trace their bloodline back to celestial roots. However, it should be noted that much of Eleste remains untouched since the Calamity, and wild creatures can be found roaming those lands.   Conflict in Eleste is driven primarily by territorial disputes whose origins also run back to the Calamity. Many disputes are nonviolent or diplomatic, but every once in a while sharp words can turn into bloodshed.   Adventurers in Eleste have plenty of opportunities to change the young world around them. Whether it be influencing the politics of nation-states, or exploring the untamed wilds left from the Calamity, there is never a bored moment in Eleste.
