Horned Whiptail Kobold

"We awoke in a dark chamber illuminated only by the pale blue light of the Great Spirit. Countless scores of us, all young, too young to be alone. Many floated in the glass eggs, curled and still. Many were deformed, or not formed enough. So many looked like the young from eggs broken too soon. The great spirit provided for us, taught us to read and speak, to hunt, to live. Now, we follow the great spirit as it roams the desert, protecting our god who has watched over us for so long."
Horned Whiptail Kobolds were created by Dragon scientists, a splicing of Human, Horned Lizard, and Whiptail Lizard DNA. The lab responsible for developing these Kobolds survived the destruction wrought by Atlor. Once the power fully diminished within the facility, stasis and life support for growing embryos failed. In their struggle from their slumber, many broke their pods and survived, while embryos in development died. The entire clutch of Kobolds were blessed to be Death Seers   The soul of their creator, referred to as the Great Spirit by the kobolds, taught the Kobolds the ancient draconic language. They learned to hunt with their claws and spiked tails and survive in the harsh desert. As centuries passed and the World Scar healed, they centered the Great Spirit.   Horned Whiptail Kobolds stand on two feet, ranging from 3 feet (1 meter) to 6 feet tall (2 meters), averaging at 4-5 feet (1.2-1.5 meters). They stand digitgrade on 5 clawed toes with thick leg muscles. They have tails that can be smooth or spiked and utilized as a whip or club depending on thickness and length. The entirety of their bodies are covered in scales ranging in various shades of brown, yellow, or red with some amount of spikes covering their bodies. Their snouts can be short or long, reflecting more of a Horned Lizard or a Whiptail Lizard. They have five fingers on each hand, each ending with claws rather than humanoid nails. They have an apposable thumb and are structurally humanoid in shape.    Like others in the Fayus species, feral formed individuals can be born, resembling a mix of one or the other lizard species with rare hybrids popping up. The feral form Kobolds resembling Horned Lizards possess the same ability to squirt blood from their eyes that Horned Lizards do. They are often used as pack mules.
