Eldreal

Eldreal is a harsh world in a constant cycle against the Curse of Gods. Every kingdom in its history seems to meet an untimely fate at the hands of this devastating event.   Whenever the curse subsides, the people will revere magical entities known as avatars, individuals with magical powers beyond reality. They will pray, build shrines, and show their devotion. In turn, the avatars will rebuilt the world anew and promise to stave off the curse's reappearance.   The year is 1002, the curse has been tormenting Eldreal for over 30 years now and hope has faded. The avatars are nowhere to be found and panic is spreading throughout the lands. With the world's guardians gone, a lone shrine maiden at the edge of Eldreal uses the last resort of her once esteemed church. A forbidden ritual to bring back past heroes, in the hope that they can start the cycle anew.   Are you the destined heroes of yore?
