ELDERDOON - WEST

DELGON & VERQUELIA

The northeastern peaks of the Khagskall Mountains (Khags), with Mount Mhinopeth at it's center, and The B'hoggle Spire at it's southeastern end, create a foreboding barrier along the entire eastern coast of Elderdoon. It separates the Great Sea of Suall to the east, and the Delgon Dominion to the west.

Delgon contains heavily forested lands to the north. The Tzilleth Forest, running along the northwestern rise up into the Khags, borders with the frozen wastes of Kundell, while the swamps and bogs of Delgon lay along the Khag's western equatorial region.

Lake Whind, the largest of all lakes in Elderdoon, sits within this area. It is shared with the bordering Lands of Verquelia on it's northeastern shores.

The Boeteth Wastes, with the Desfar Desert and the volcanic pit of Boeteth the Lonely encompass the southern edge. Along it's shores directly west is Verquelia's capitol, and largest city, Shadzell.

Along Verquelia's northern and southern borders lie the two largest rivers of western Elderdoon. The Viggal (north) and The Tyern (south), creating a natural line of defense, and means to ship in and out of Eldrdoon's interior, making Shadzell the center of commerce in the west.

Other cities of note are Kundell and Nuni, sister cities connected by an ancient arcane gate named The Slice. Kundell is located in the frozen northeastern mountains of theKhags, making it a part of the Delgon Dominion, while Nuni is located on Verquelia's Wuntrel Peninsula.

The Bay of Loeth, with it's dangerous reef Shaldar's Grave Of Rust and Ruin, and the mighty whirlpool named The Shifting Maw Of Rathgar, are places many adventurers seek fortune, but eventually find death.
