"Though she was beautiful, that only made her more terrifying. Her armor finely crafted by the best Dwarvish armor smith. Her hair which shone an auburn-gold. Her majestic presence palpable in every sense. I knelled before her groveling, staring into the well polished stone of the throne room floor. I dare not make direct eye-contact.

The word cut through the air with a voice as cold as the stone I knelled. It was as though my worth as a human was immediately stripped by an uncaring mother, who never wanted me in the first place. I cried and screamed for mercy as the guards grabbed hold of my extremities; there was no use fighting them.
I awoke to the sounds of torture. Grown men cried and screamed like women. When I finally realized I was in a cell with several other people, the guards came in and pulled us out by our remaining hair. Throwing our naked bodies outside onto the frozen ground. It was the cold months and there was only one way prisoners were handled during that time. Charges were read aloud to the few attending officials, as each pair manacles were tied to a post. Brigit was born to be Queen. She was trained from a young age by the finest teachers her father could find. She became in expert in war and in sword-fighting, and developed and understanding of economics. Her father was killed by Magic-User, who she chased through the castle until he used a dimension door spell to get away. She was then crowned, becoming the youngest ruler of Greyfell to date, at 10 years of age. With the help of her father's trusted adviser and friend, Mathias Xavier Al'norven, she then handled the fires and the restoration of the city.
