Ara-Kator

Ara-Kator, City in the Trees, is the home of the Yurnfen and Marstend in the Jungles of Luhaai. The Yurnfen have long claimed that the trees of Luhaai are living in a sense beyond normal plant-life. They believe that the trees in the deepest parts of the jungle, where the Yurnfen make their home, are blessed by a magic similar to that of the Marstend. Not many make the journey to the heart of the jungle where Ara-Kator stands, and fewer still have had the privilege of climbing the Tak-A, a majestic staircase set upon the thickest Kator tree at the very center of the jungle. At ground level, Ara-Kator is made of small homes built from mud, hide, and bone. Few stone structures are found, as to delve into rock would require the cutting of foliage which is strictly forbidden in Ara-Kator. If one were to look up, however, they would find see a vast network of bridges made of vine, hide, and bone, connecting platforms naturally shaped by the canopy to provide homes for the people of the wood.
