Gustav Freythorn II
Not all men are born to be great. Some men are born to help great people become what they are.Gustav Freythorn II was regent of Caramiza in the late 13th century and it was during his reign, the shift from recognizing Apac as the main deity towards Maned started to begin. Although Gustav II was only supportive of Erzzeuge Johannes Greenweid the real force behind the shift, history will forever remember him as the monarch who opened up the country to the teachings of Maned. Gustav II. sponsored many temples of Maned in larger settlements in the vicinity of Bealuki and wrote several decrees giving the rising church larger taxation right. He was reportedly very surprised by the neighboring nations, who stilled followed Apac, denouncing his actions. A diplomatic entourage he sent to Knurkang was lost completely and this was a possible beginning of the feud between the nations which still lasts until today. His lavish spending on new temples in the name of Maned ironically led to a serious economic crisis after his death, as the state's coffers were completely empty and debitors tried to collect with his heiress Gabriela Freythorn I..
