Ryota
A male tiefling and head of The Handgun's operations in the Northern Territories. Polite and charming, his humble shop in Sanjuro City acts as the headquarters for all Handgun activities in the region. A kenku by the name of Ren helps him with the day-to-day shopwork. With the conclusion of the Oda-Kiri War in 908, Handgun business has been moving at a steady pace as elven relic from the ruins of Kiri Clan get fenced on the black market and veteran mercenaries seek new lines of work.

Personal history
Growing up in poverty in the Kiri Clan-controlled village of Mokazai, Ryota turned to a life of crime to earn a living but quickly found himself disillusioned by the gangs he worked for. Each one seemed to eventually turn towards cruelty or human trafficking, Ryota's plans for large-scale heists abandoned in favor of violent shakedowns.
Which is why Ryota was one of the first criminals to join the Handgun when it started to expand its operations into the Northern Territories following the Kiri-Kawa-Oda War. The Handgun dabbled in numerous unseemly activities, but its honor-among-thieves mentality and professional thievery inspired the tiefling to believe that a better brand of criminal could thrive in the war-torn Territories. He oversaw numerous heists and raids throughout the region, most notably during the Seige of Younashi when Handgun agents manage to run away with more than a quarter of the city's magic items. After decades of expanding the guild's operations, he's devoted years of planning towards achieving the heist of the century: a break-in of Chusei University's Museum of Natural Wonders.
