The Ironwood Citadel is the bastion of strength of the Conclave. Its construction was a joint effort by the members of the Conclave after the Gosan Insurrection. It is the home of the Arbiter of the Conclave and the forces he has under his command.

Leadership

The Ironwood Citadel is where the conclave leadership meets once per year for a week. During this time all manner of issues are brought before the group as well as time allotted to meet with any foreign powers. For any issue that faces the conclave as a whole, a decision is made with one vote given to the 4 members and a vote given to the Arbiter. The decision is brought back to the various kingdoms and implemented.

Conclave lands

The Citadel is the governing seat of the lands given to the Conclave at the end of the insurrection. It forms an area of neutrality for all the kingdoms so there is no border contention. It also provides the only safe over land access to the Kingdom of Tern and the Arbiter is tasked with assisting in maintaining free trade and access between kingdoms.

The Citadel

The Citadel was built with the intention for it to outlast its members. The walls and foundations are Tern construction, twice as thick as any castle in all of Dane. The Everfires that light the towers and torches throughout are from Master Phev Arcanists, casting Daylight at all times and dispelling common magical concealment. The Timber is pure old forest Ironwood by master Jote craftsmen. It is nestled in a mountain valley with only one way in and springs to supply fresh water. They say there are enough caves below to hold thousands.
