Graham Whitaker

"Whitaker is easily the most devious and conniving Generals that the Huer has in their armies. Fastidious. He is effective. The northern islands and my home can attest to that. That is if they can still speak at all."
Sarmaris Oakenvale
Graham Whitaker is the child of two of the Huer nobility, a loveless marriage made for power. His birth was on a moonless night on fell during the Festival of Lords.  His birth was celebrated by the families and blessed by the Clerics of Ziztarr, God of Death as auspicious. He was given the best education that could be found in the empire and flourished. His mentors and tutors often commented on how quickly he picked up new concepts but shared concerns over some of his obsessions with manipulating situations. It was clear early that Graham had a knack for controlling the situations he was in and the people near him. This eventually earned him a place in the Empire's military.

The Terrorizers

Whitaker was often tasked by his superiors to investigate and persuade enemies and allies into positions more favorable to the Empire. What was seldom realized before it was too late is that Whitaker was using his superiors in the same ways until he was promoted past them sometimes by achievement and sometimes unfortunate circumstances. Eventually, he found himself in the Emperor's court and bored as there were no further challenges. As the seas cleared and the Huer began to set their eyes beyond the dwarven plateau. Whitaker, with the support of the Emperor, formed the Terrorizers. He picked dedicated Huer soldiers from many different crafts. These soldiers went in front of the army by months or years. They were in charge of sowing unrest and fear in the cities and areas they were given as well as gathering information. As their invasion of the main army got closer they would throw the area into disarray and destabilize the area to make the conquest easy. His attention to detail and unconventional thinking seemingly unbound by morality marked him very successful. He was praised for his success in 1435 4E during the Invasion of Fallion.
