Carat (ct)
A carat refers to a cut diamond of at least 1ct, and enclosed in a "cage" of nickel. The 8 (counting Hermeria as one) countries that use this currency each have a different cut, however all cuts are accepted by all of the countries using the diamond standard

East Hermeria: Trillion cut, 3 pronged on edges
Nullnor: Marquis cut, 4 pronged
Orania: Round cut, 1 prong that wraps around like a ring
Adderash: Tear drop cut, 3 pronged
Lilythorne: Emerald cut, 4 pronged
Eleodoria: Radiant cut, 4 pronged
Mahigni: Square cut, 4 pronged
