Catfolk

Miv are a humanoid feline species living in southern Efin. Their homeland is located between the human and dogfolk homelands. Due to their similarity to cats most people of other species call them Catfolk. That name isn't considered offensive by Miv, but no Miv would ever use it when talking to another of their kind. However, in contacts with other species the term "Catfolk" is used much more often.

A Cat's Reflexes

Catfolk are very agile and fast. It allows them to climb to very high and are able to catch things falling or being thrown at a high speed. They can also run faster than other species.

A Cat's Pride

Catfolk are a very proud species. Almost all of them view themselves as better than other sapient species of Efinia. Mivan elites believe that they are destined to rule the world. Some extremists even think that the Cataclysm and the gods altered historical records and people's memories to hide the fact that the God-King was actually a Miv. It is impossible to convince them that they are wrong, as their treat lack of evidence as evidence of the tampering.
