Activity related with Demonic entities was reported to the Department of Anomalous Entities by the [REDACTED] police department on [REDACTED]. The original report from the [REDACTED] police department stated the origin point of the activity to be an abandon mine on the Western face of the Fellspire mountains. Per Department standard operating procedure a recon team was deployed to the area. The recon team reported minimal anomalous activity on the surface level of the mine. A team of three agents with five days rations, documentation tools, and light self defense weapons was deployed to explore the deeper sections of the mine and confirm the absence of demonic activity.

After Action Report:

ACCESS GRANTED: Agent Steven was extracted by onsite command during the fifth day of the mission. Agent Steven was in critical condition by the time of extraction and required immediate medical aid. Upon coming into view of the elevator a demonic entity of unknown origin appeared behind him and attempted to kill Agent Steven. The demonic entity retreated after receiving heavy weapons fire from the extraction team, and did not return for the remaining length of the extraction. After review of Agent Steven's log an extermination team from the third chapter of Knucks was deployed to the mines and subsequently destroyed the demonic entity. Agent Steven's is currently recovering at [REDACTED] Hospital and is awaiting debriefing. Command is currently investigating why the initial recon team did not note the smell of sulfur nor the other signs of demonic anomalies, and instead reported minimal such activity. The class 5 demon located in the mine has been given the reference name "Puppeteer" and extra information from it's autopsy can be found bellow.

Daily Log:
Day 0 (Pre-Op)
_To the agent reading this know that if you report me to command for doing shitty reports I will beat you senseless. We left HQ around 0930 hours and arrived on site at 1655 hours. The area around the mines entrance stunk of sulfur, the smell was so thick in the air Kevin swore he could see it in the air. Whoever was in the recon team who reported minimal demonic activity needs to be fired, this place smells so bad it could have been a demon whore house. On site command briefed us on our insertion and extraction procedure. Radio's don't work underground so they'll meet us on the fifth day and take us up on the elevator. after this we turned in for the night. Good God how am I supposed to sleep with when even the temp shelters smell like fucking rotten eggs! ______________________________________
Day 1
_We started the elevator ride down to the mine at 0700 hours and arrived on location at 0800 hours. Only a couple layers deeper than the initial recon team. The smell of sulfur is even worse down here. We can smell it even through our respirators and Parker won't shut up about wanting to throw up due to the smell. Gold miners are a rough bunch but would it have killed them to install some extra ventilation? We proceed down the mine at a steady pace, stopping at regular intervals to rest. Eventually Parker spotted a blood splatter on the wall of an adjacent hallway, along with further blood splatters down the hall. It wasn't fresh and it definitely wasn't human, all of it wreaked of sulfur. Kevin took a sample and we proceeded down the hall for approximately 5 hours, then stopped to sleep. ____________________________
Day 2
_We found the source of the sulfur. After walking down the hallway for and additional 5 hours we located a dead demon. It was a quadrupedal dog like creature, approximately 6 feet in length from head to tail and appeared to have no skin. The demon had large deep gashes across its abdomen. Some of these gashes were so deep they severed the right hind leg. Although the demon was mutilated beyond recognition it's clear whatever attacked it did not consume any of it's flesh. Per operating procedure tissue and blood samples were taken along with photographs of the scene. After this the demon's body was destroyed using holy water. Both Kevin and Parker noted that even though the body had been destroyed, the smell persisted. The team and I proceeded down the hallway until we located a stairway to the lower portions of the mine. After going down 10 more levels we halted to sleep. Parker has become increasingly paranoid after destroying the demon, he constantly remarks that he can hear something behind him. Stopping often to shine his flashlight into the hallway behind us.__________________
Day 3
_FUCK! Parker was right, we were being followed. Per our agreement with the extraction team we started to go back to the extraction point to meet them on our fifth day. As we climbed back up the stair Parker fell behind us by a flight of stairs, by this point his paranoia was starting to impact his to keep up with us. Near the top of the stairwell Parker screamed "Contact!" and started to fire his C90 into the landing bellow him. Kevin and I reacted immediately and started down the stairs to support Parker. As we took our first step down a loud roar was heard bellow us and the sound of gunfire stopped. Kevin and I just stood there, terrified like fucking sheep. I feel like we stood their for hours just pointing our rifles down the stairs waiting for it to come for us. When we did finally move we ran up the stairs and into the hallway. We ran and ran until completely exhausted, our legs trembled from the run and our minds trembled from the fear. The smell of sulfur is still in the air, its gotten worse since that thing got Parker. We've found a hole in the wall along the hallway, it can fit both of us in a laying position. If we rotate sleep between us and keep guard, we might just survive till tomorrow. _____________________________
Day 4
_Its just me now, I'm all that's left. It got Kevin earlier today. Kevin and I made it into the main corridors and started our way up to the extraction point. When we were about midway Kevin heard something walking behind us, when we shined our flash lights behind us we saw Parker standing there covered in blood. He was pale and missing his left arm; it looked as though he could barely stand. He started to shout for our help, Kevin ran towards him to provide aid. When he got close to Parker his flashlight revealed something behind him. It was pure black and stood on two legs. The demons arms were extremely long and were outstretched into Parker's back. I ordered Kevin to fall back, but it was too late. The demon dropped Parker's body and ran one of it's arms straight through Kevin's Chest. I didn't even shoot at it or try to help Kevin I just fucking ran. I could hear Kevin's scream reverberating through the mine. Over and over again, I heard his cries and pleads for help for what must have been hours. I'm almost to the extraction point, but the demon's here too. The closer I move to the extraction point the more intense the smell of sulfur becomes, meaning he is somewhere between me and the elevator. The only chance I have to survive this will be rushing the elevator when they come down, and just praying to God that I can get past the Demon. I'm going to sleep in one of the side passages dug into the walls, and hope he doesn't find me. If I fail to get out of here tomorrow please let Kevin's family know of his fate. _________________________________
