War Of The Burning Forest

The 68 year-long war of between the Kingdom of Vrailia and 'savage' races of the Northern country of Atrein ended 46 years ago. The conflict began because of people of the North made several advances into the lands of Vrailia to gain access to more fertile land. It ended with the assassination of Supreme-Proctector Coleon, the head of the armies of Atrein. The most common fighting tactics were considered traditional at the time. During the war, a famous Pirate, Captain Atley Sagar won a decisive victory at the cliffs of Creswick Bay. Since then, the civilians from Atrein found within Vrailia have often been poorly treated and relationship between Vrailia and Atrein remains tense. Most experts feel that the chances of the conflict resparking are Imminent.
