Session 015 Report

General Summary

The night after defeating the orc scouts was not an easy one for our heroes. A strange dullness fell over their camp and just as Attilla and Salix Brightmoon felt and ominous dread fall over them a strange creature came into their midst. This creature, with its deep, raspy voice, pleaded 'So Lonely' to our heroes. Brigid cast a spell to ward her compatriots which hurt the creature and the battle was on. The creature used its harpoon arms and pleading embrace to grapple both Brigid and Fallen Twig , while the others went to work trying to free their friends. Our heroes eventually defeated the creature and decided to move camp before settling in again. After a less than restful night, our heroes went hunting. They followed the trail of the orc scouts that they had previously defeated back to their camp. They watched the patrols and got a sense of the scale of the horde before them; at least 400 strong. Brigid sent word back to Tolben Stonehill in Phandalin requesting help. Unfortunately it will take time to get troops from nearby Davenport to aid. Our heroes are deciding on a strategy to circle the camp and determine what else lies beyond the horde...
