One hundred years ago the King of Edge Spire, Oberon lost his crown. As the years pass, questing parties have been sent to find the crown but none have succeeded. If they returned at all they returned maddened, or maimed. Most information on how the crown was lost has disappeared in time, but there are rumors. Rumors of Gods, and broken promises of a wish once the crown is returned.
For the first few years the best of the best were chosen and sent, but as they went missing the quest turned into a punishment, or a joke.
